At UT sarees, we strive to make sure you have the best experience. Despite our best efforts to keep our customers happy, there are odd times.


We have listed everything below about our Cancellation, Refunds and exchange policy so that in case you do decide to cancel your order, or seek refunds, you do not face an iota of a problem.


The terms “we”, “us”, “our” and “UT Sarees” refer to Unique Threads Sarees. 


Cancellation Policy :

  • In case there is an order cancellation, please do so before it is shipped. Shipping charges are non-refundable once the order is dispatched.
  • You can request your order cancellation through the link or write to us at support@utsarees.com

Return and Refund

  • We have a 48 hour return period. Returns will be accepted only in the case of manufacturing defects or dispatch of incorrect item/s. The product/s must be in its original unused condition to be exchanged.

How to Initiate the Return Process?

  1. Customers should contact UT Sarees customer support via email at support@utsarees.com or call us on + 918939333346 within 48 hours from the receipt of the product.
  2. Customers should not return the product before receiving a confirmation mail from UT Sarees about the same.
  3. All the products must be returned in their original condition, unaltered and unused, in packed condition.The courier partner will not accept return shipments in case the package is not sealed by the customer.
  4. Provide the invoice into the package for the return process. Without the above, returns will not be processed.

NOTE: We would not be able process any request after 2 days from the date of receipt of the product. Shipping and COD charges are non refundable


Refund

We shall process the refund once we receive the product. The product must be in unused condition, in its original packaging along with its original tags and invoice, failing which refund may not be possible.

The refund would be initiated only after getting a confirmation from our Quality Assurance team (QA), that the product has been sent back without any damages or discrepancies

Once the refund process has been initiated, the amount will be directly refunded to your account via the same mode through which the transaction was made.

In case the customer pays online then the amount will be refunded within 7-15 working days from the receipt of returned product(s) at the warehouse of UT Sarees

In case of a COD (Cash on Delivery) order where the customer pays in cash once the product is received, the amount is refunded via online transfer using NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer). The customer must provide a scanned copy of passbook or any proof of the bank account to initiate the return process. It takes 7-15 working days for the amount to get refunded directly into the customer’s bank account.


Note: You may also choose to receive store credit and use it for your next purchase instead of a refund.


Exchange Policy: 

  1. Raise an exchange request within 48 hours of receiving the product. You can raise your exchange request through support@utsarees.com. You will receive an approval mail from us within 24 - 48 hours if the request is accepted.
  2. If the request is accepted, we will ship the replacement product to you within 5-7 working days. 
  3. Parallely, a pick up would be arranged and a label would be sent to you via email which needs to be attached on the package for reverse pick up
  4. Mention the order details & complete shipping address on the packet as stated below – * Order Number and the Name used while placing the order  *  Shipping Address : Unique Threads Sarees, 5/90, Sree Balaji street, (Near Lakshmi Clinic), Anugraha Avenue Phase IV, Thandalam, Kovur Rd, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600122
  5. Please make sure that the original packing is intact when the product is picked up.
  6. No return and exchange request would be accepted if the return/exchange request is raised after 48 hours of receiving the shipment. Incase of  exceptional cases please write to us at info@utsarees.com You would be notified by us , once we receive your shipment.
  7. In case we do not have pick up service available at your location, you would have to self ship the product. A maximum of upto 100 INR would be given to you as a store credit for reverse shipping.
  8. Exchange is not possible if the saree has fall and edging done to it.
  9. Exchange would not be accepted if the product was customised for you.
  10. If you want to exchange the product you ordered for with another product of higher amount, we would give you a coupon code for the amount of the product you returned. You can use this code while placing order and pay the balance amount on your next purchase.
  11. If you want to exchange your product with another product of lower amount, we would ship the product as soon as we receive it and the balance would be refunded back to you. You can also opt for store credit for the balance amount, which can be used for your next purchase.

 

Disclaimer :-

  • The exchange/ return facility can be availed only once.
  • Products purchased using a discount code are not eligible for refund. They can only be exchanged at additional shipping costs of INR 150. One can also opt for a credit voucher after adjusting shipping costs of INR 150.
  • Products on sale are not eligible for refund. 
  • Customized products are non returnable.

 

International Orders:

  • If unfortunately you have to cancel an order, please do so before your order is shipped.
  • If you cancel your order before your product has been shipped, we will refund the entire amount
  • If you have received the product and you do not like it, the same can be returned within 15 days . The shipping charges for sending the products back has to be borne by the customer. 
  • Once we have received the products a quality check would be done by our team. Please make sure that the original product tag and packing is intact when you courier it back to us
  • The amount refunded to you would be only for the products. Shipping charges are non refundable
  • If you receive any defective product, do contact us immediately by mailing us at info@utsarees.com with your Order ID and send us a snapshot of the defect. We will either provide you store credit or refund the amount of that defected product
  • We unfortunately do not have an exchange policy for international customers .
